February 2020 Wrap-Up

February is over (honestly, this month has been rough, so thank goodness) so it's time for my monthly wrap-up! In my monthly wrap-ups, as always, I'll be posting about the books I've read, shows and movies I watched, games I played, and music I listened to. I'll also write about any life updates and talk about my plans for the following month! I'd love to know how your month went.

Let's jump into my wrap-up!

October & November 2019 Wrap-Up

October and November have ended so now it's time to reflect on both of the months! In this post I will list my book reviews, other blog posts, movies, tv shows, life updates, music, and plans for the next month. I will of course link any reviews and anything non-bookish (which means I don't have a review) I will write a few sentences of my general thoughts! October was such a busy month for me! Between getting married, catching some sort of awful stomach bug, my birthday, and our stay-cation after our wedding it was a month of constant things happening. And then in November my mental health took a bad turn, and I was unmotivated to do anything, which put blogging and reading on the back burner. However, with everything that went on these two months, I am hoping my reading spark is back and December will be a bit better for me!

Let's jump into my wrap-up!

September Wrap-Up 2019

September has ended so now it's time to reflect on my month! In this post I will list my book reviews, other blog posts, movies, tv shows, life updates, music, and plans for the next month. I will of course link any reviews and anything non-bookish (which means I don't have a review) I will write a few sentences of my general thoughts! This is the year I plan on reading books I either on my shelves or on my kindle that I really need to get to. I also need to tackle finishing a lot of series I have started in the past.

This month I started off really strong but as wedding planning took over my life even more than it was originally I had a good almost two weeks of no reading, which really sucks. But October is the wedding so I am hoping on our stay-cation I can get some really good reading progress!

August Wrap-Up

This is my monthly post where I talk about how the month went for me when it came to reading and some events that maybe sparked me to read more (or stopped me from reading as much as I wanted to). I also link all the reviews I did in the month, update any reading challenges I've signed up for, discuss my plans for the following month, non-book things I've enjoyed, and give updates of my life. This year I have decided that I am not making a big deal on how many books I read or letting myself feel any guilt for the amount I didn't read. I am just going to read what sounds good in the moment without any guilt or pressure. I hope everyone has had a fantastic reading month and that next month goes even better!  Let's jump into how August went for me!

BookTube-A-Thon 2018 Wrap-Up!

BookTube-A-Thon is a week long read-a-thon created by Ariel Bissett, a BookTuber, that encourages the book community to get together and focus solely on reading for the week. This is a great way to either get through some smaller books you've had on your TBR for way too long or maybe get the courage to pick up one of those books that you've been too intimidated to pick up.

I will link the official BookTube-A-Thon Youtube Here if you need any more information about the read-a-thon, and if you ended up missing it I hope you are able to participate next summer!

In this post I'll talk about the books I read, and the ones I was supposed to but didn't read. This BookTube-A-Thon was the first year I didn't finish all the challenges! I hit a few bumps in the road of this year's read-a-thon but I am really happy with the books I read!

BookTube-A-Thon Wrap-Up

BookTube-A-Thon is officially over!! Phew! Every single time the booktube-a-thon week has ended I am both relieved and bummed that I will have to wait another year for the next one! Here I will talk about my daily accomplishments and how I did with the seven challenges. I'd love to know how you did in the comments below!

April Wrap-Up

My plans for April were pretty simple, I wanted to try to post every day in April, read the books I had coming out and I had in my possession from the library, and try my best to not get into a slump because I was feeling it a little last month and for some reason this time of year I always get in a reading slump. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to post every day of the month (more on that later) and I most definitely got in a slump, and I still may be but I am hoping with a new month that'll change.

March Wrap-Up

I honestly didn't have much of a plan for March when it came to my TBR. I knew I had a handful of books I wanted to read but besides that I kind of just read whatever I requested at my library or was motivated to pick up. It was definitely a more relaxing month and for a good week I read almost nothing, which worried me that I was getting into a reading slump (especially since this time last year I got into a bad one). I think the Read-O-Rama burned me out before I really even got to participate because of my lack of preparation which made me not want to read. I somehow pushed through and read four books in the final week of the month. I think I just requested the right books at the right time.
