[Book Review] Rapunzel and the Lost Lagoon by Leila Howland

Rapunzel is not your typical princess. For one thing, she has returned to her kingdom after eighteen years spent trapped in a tower and she's still getting to know her parents. For another, she has to get used to royal customs, like the proper ways to sit and curtsy, when she'd really rather climb a tree and paint. Plus, she hates wearing shoes.

Cassandra is not your typical lady-in-waiting. As the daughter of the captain of the guard, she has grown up fascinated by security and weaponry. It has been her life's goal to become a soldier in the guard, and princess-sitting doesn't really fit into her plan-especially when that princess's aggravating boyfriend is always hanging around.

But when Rapunzel and Cassandra stumble upon a secret lagoon said to hold the key to the kingdom's greatest power, it will be up to them to solve the mystery before someone more sinister does.

Follow this tale of adventure and intrigue, love and destiny, and, most important, friendship.

The Moana Book Tag

This book tag was created by Claire from the YouTube channel themawkwardpotatoes. I am linking the original video here. I recommend watching her original video because her answers are really fun and if you're anything like me you can watch book tag videos all day. I decided to do this tag now because it's only five days until the release of Moana on DVD and Blu-Ray. I cannot wait to pick it up!

Beauty and the Beast Book Tag

We only have a month until the Beauty and the Beast movie with Emma Watson as Belle comes out! I am absolutely excited for this adaptation and I cannot wait to discuss it. Until then, I wanted to do this cute little tag that was created by Kirsty and the Cat Read. So, if you end up doing it please tag her! Also comment below and tell me so I can check out your answers!

Winnie the Pooh (Book Tag) Day!

In 1882 on this day, January 18, A.A. Milne was born! A.A. Milne is the author who brought us all the Winnie the Pooh books and stories the generations alive today grew up on. From the books to the television shows, and to the movies Winnie the Pooh has been a well loved story. In honor of Milne's birth date and in honor of Winnie the Pooh Day I decided to do the Winnie the Pooh and 100 Acre Woods Book Tags. I like both, but they're so similiar that I decided to combine them and choose the questions I think best fit the characters they were paired with. This way both creators get a shout out! The Winnie the Pooh Book Tag was created by YouTuber InspiringAdria who, it seems, doesn't post videos to her channel anymore, but I still wanted to give credit to the creator of this tag. The 100 Acre Woods Book Tag was created by LeaningLights, who I believe deleted her original tag but is still active on her channel.
