Favorite Books of 2017
It is the end of 2017! Which means it's time for the annual list of my favorite books I have read in the year! This was really hard to choose from because honestly I have read a lot of great books. One of my reading resolutions was that I wanted to read more diversely and I am really proud to say I did that. I read so many great books about different cultures, sexual identities, gender identities, and mental illnesses. I think this is definitely something I plan on incorporating into my reading routine now. Grabbing books that are more diverse. I think the #OwnVoices movement has really done wonders for the book community and we are seeing more (but not enough) diverse authors not only being published but being promoted.
So, here are my favorite books of 2017 in no particular order. I will probably stick to ten books with some honorable mentions. If we have any in common tell me! Also, if you have any reading recommendations based off the books I have loved, of course send them my way.

Worst Books of 2017
Now that 2017 is over it's time to reflect on my completed reading list! Of course, like I had my Favorite Books of 2017, I am going to do the opposite. I typically do not like having to do a obligatory disclaimer, but I will quickly say that if I end up naming one of your favorite books, this is not a personal attack on you. Please understand that. I understand that us bookish people are passionate about the stories we love, so I am up for a discussion, but let's keep it civil. Also, I'd love to know your least favorite books you read in 2017.
My list will be only five books. There weren't many books I absolutely despised. I don't want to add a book to this list unless I really hated the book. Also, some released in 2017 but others didn't. However, I did read them all in 2017. So let's get into my picks!

2017 End Of Year Book Survey
The 2017 End of Year Survey was created by Jamie from The Perpetual Page-Turner! I will link her original post that has both the survey's questions and the linky list so you can add your survey to the list of other bloggers participating! This is a survey of books you read in 2017, no matter what the release date was for each book! If you read it in 2017, you can use it as an answer for any of the questions. Have fun and if you participate please tell me so I can read your answers!

2017 Reading Goals
These are twelve reading goals I really want to accomplish this year. The overall theme of this year is for me to try my absolute hardest not to get so caught up in how many books I have completed so I don't get caught up in a reading slump and lose interest in reading for months at a time (which happened in 2016 twice). I am hoping to feel satisfied at the end of the year with most of the books I have stacked waiting for me already read and it will feel a bit like spring cleaning.
