Top Ten Tuesday was created by The Broke and the Bookish but is currently being run by That Artsy Reader Girl. A prompt is given each week, and I hope to do it every week so I always have something going up on Tuesdays. This week I am talking about tv shows that I think are worthy of a good binge watch session! I love being able to break out of my bookish bubble and talk about other things I love from time to time. And I love TV shows!
Let's jump right into it
This is my favorite show but I am so behind on the newest season on Netflix so I am definitely due for a good binge-watch. This show gets me so addicted the moment I press play and I just need to keep watching until the end. I've been watching this show for about a decade now.
Jane the Virgin
This was MADE to be bingeworthy and addicting! It's basically a soap opera and I am obsessed. It's definitely one of my favorite shows ever! Once you start watching it you cannot stop!
This is my favorite Netflix Original TV Show. I am obsessed with Stranger Things. I love the child actors, the story, and the 80's setting. I love Eleven/Millie Bobby Brown so much and I cannot wait to see what else she is in as she grows as an actress. I love how talented all the actors are!! When I watch this book I am a hot mess and I have to keep watching until I am through the entire season.
This show reminds me of my mom, because it's her favorite show. We watched it together all the time when I was young so I watch it often as a comfort when I am missing her. I will text her while watching it and it makes her want to watch it too. Which is always hilarious. I believe as of now she's watched this show in total at least ten times.
Sailor Moon is a show I watched when I was younger and loved. I never watched it in order as the episodes aired because I just watched as I caught it on tv. So now, re-watching it with my fiancé from the beginning it has been so much fun! We are loving it and we watch an episode or two every morning. I believe we are close to the end, which makes me want to hunt down the movies too.
Out of all the Marvel TV shows, this one is my favorite. I do have issues with it (fatphobia specifically) but I love Jessica and her story. Once we start the new season I am a terror until we finish it. It doesn't matter what else we have been watching or what show has a new episode, Jessica comes first.
The Good Place
I am so mad it took me so long to watch this show because it is amazing. I have watched both seasons and now I am impatiently waiting for it to come back. I love Kristen Bell so much, she's one of my favorite actresses ever, so I am always up for supporting her.
Speaking of Kristen Bell, this is another show of hers I absolutely love. This was my first introduction to her and I have been in love ever since. I love how addicting this show is. The writing, acting, and story lines are so good!! It gets incredibly dark but I think that's one of the reasons why I was so addicted to Veronica Mars. This is definitely one of my favorite shows ever. I also hear that we are getting MORE which I am here for. I own the movie and the two spin off books written (although I still need to read the second one soon!). Everything is great about this world/show/series.
Bachelor in Paradise
I love all of Bachelor Nation, but this one is my favorite of the three. I make myself watching Bachelor and Bachelorette so this show makes sense and I know context. But Paradise is where it is at. My fiancé is who got me into this franchise a handful of years ago and I've been hooked ever since. I have so many opinions about this show, some good, some bad, but overall it's entertaining.
Parks and Recreation
This show is amazing and one of the only sitcoms I can honestly say is addicting. For me, it's hard to get really addicted to a sitcom because there's a beginning middle and end to each episode and it's not very cliffhanger-y. But there's something about Parks and Rec that had me wanting to never stop. Honestly, I think for me it was the characters. I love them so much and I never wanted to stop watching them.
