[Bookish Discussion] Quitting Goodreads?

There's been quite a lot of controversy around Goodreads, a social media site for us book lovers, and I just wanted other people's opinions on the topic. I want to know not only all the information about what's happening but also what my options were if I do decide to stop using Goodreads starting in 2018.

[Bookish Discussion] Which comes first: Reading or Watching?

It has been quite a while since I have done a bookish discussion blog post! My last (and first) one was about Physical Copies vs. E-books if you're interested! In this post, I'll be discussing the old bookish debate on seeing a movie before or after reading the book. I'll be mostly talking about my own personal opinions and preferences when it comes to the topic, but my opinion isn't final. I do want this to be a (civil) discussion!

[Bookish Discussion] Physical Books vs. E-Readers

This is a controversial topic that often gets heated between the book community. I think that people are very defensive about how they read because reading is such an intimate and personal activity. I am going to discuss my preferences, but also the pros and cons of both ways of reading. This post is completely for discussing, not bashing people's opinions, and not making anyone feel unwelcome. Hopefully everyone can respect each others opinions and we can all just embrace the fact that everyone here is being passionate about reading. It's all the same story, no matter how you choose to read it.
