[Top 5 Wednesday] Book Covers I Want To Live In

It's time for this week's Top Five Wednesday! This has been created by gingerreadslainey and it also has a Goodreads group. I am hoping to do these posts (or other weekly Wednesday posts) more often as long as I am interested in the current prompt! This week's prompt I am talking about five book covers I love so much that I want to live inside them.

 1. Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone by J.K. Rowling.

This is the first Harry Potter book, which means it's more innocent and less intense. This one just looks like so much fun. Harry's playing Quidditch, their is a unicorn running around, you can see Hogwarts and the Forbidden Forest in the background. This book cover holds so much nostalgia for me and it makes me so happy. I want to sit in the stands and watch Harry practice Quidditch, I want to sneak into the Forbidden Forest with the trio. I want to go to Charms, Care of Magical Creatures, Defense the Dark Arts classes. I want to walk through the grounds of Hogwarts until my legs and feet are exhausted and I have no choice but to pass out in my common room once the day is over.

2. The Inexplicable Logic of My Life by Benjamin Alire Sáenz.

This a coming of age story about friendship, family, love, and grief. It's a pretty heavy book with some light moments sprinkled in. This cover (I assume) is supposed to depict the three main teenage characters, Sal, Sam, and Fito hanging out together. It reminds me of summer, friendship, star gazing. I just love it, and it seems like the kind of memory or scene I'd want to put myself in.

3. Every Heart A Doorway by Seanan McGuire.

I actually DNFed this book back in February, and in that time I have seen so many great reviews about this book, which makes me want to try it again soon. I love the cover, it's so magical and mysterious. The book is about the children that find themselves in a magical world (Wonderland, Narnia, etc) but now they are back in our world and they're dealing with the fact that they've been to a place so magical. I think this cover works really well with the synopsis, and I am hoping that the next time I pick it up I am more into it than I was originally.

4. Steven Universe by Jeremy Sorese.

I love seeing these covers, they're always so bright and happy. It makes me want to hand out with Steven, Connie, Garnet, Pearl, Amethyst, and Pearl. This is one of my favorite current animated shows right now, and it makes me so happy. I feel like each cover I've seen they look like such a loving family, which works well with the show itself also. I just want to be apart of the Gem family!

5. The Changeling's Journey by Christine Spoors

I actually know very little about this book, I have recently seen a few tweets and shout outs from BookTubers about this book's recent release date! I see that it has amazing reviews, and it sounds like a great book from the synopsis I read on Goodreads so it's definitely on my radar. But the cover itself is stunning. I have serious heart eyes on this cover. I love the scenery, the red headed woman, and the fact that it looks so peaceful. I want to be where she is so badly!

Thanks for reading!
